Pharmaceutical Packaging Companies in Sweden: Buyer’s Guide

For pharmaceutical packaging in Sweden, choose a supplier by the part of the job you need done. Nolato Cerbo and Emballator Mellerud describe plastic container production. MM Eson Pac makes printed secondary packaging. Inpac offers contract packaging services. Norden and Gotapack address packaging machinery. These are different buying decisions, even though all appear in searches for pharmaceutical packaging companies.

This is a role-based shortlist checked against the companies’ own descriptions in September 2026, not a quality ranking or a complete directory. A Swedish office does not by itself show where a particular component will be made or which service a facility can perform. Confirm the current site and project scope directly with each company.

Plastic pharmaceutical bottles and closures

Nolato Cerbo — primary plastic packaging in Trollhättan

Nolato identifies its Cerbo operation in Trollhättan as a developer and manufacturer of standard and custom pharmaceutical primary plastic packaging. Its stated range includes containers, caps, tamper-evident and child-resistant options, and container-and-closure combinations. This is a relevant starting point if you need an empty pack for a defined dosage form rather than a company to fill the medicine.

Ask Nolato about the exact bottle and closure model, material, available documentation and intended application. A statement about one range should not be assumed to cover every item in its catalog.

Emballator Mellerud — blow-molded bottles in Mellerud

Emballator says its Mellerud site manufactures blow-molded plastic bottles and canisters for pharmaceuticals as well as other sectors. Its bottle catalog separates materials, necks and target markets; one listed HDPE bottle is described for pharma and healthcare applications. Buyers should check the specific model, closure match, production conditions and documentation instead of treating the entire catalog as interchangeable pharmaceutical packaging.

Printed secondary packaging and contract services

MM Eson Pac — cartons, labels and leaflets at Swedish sites

MM identifies its Veddige plant as a producer of pharmaceutical folding cartons. Its location list also identifies Swedish sites in Åstorp and Södertälje; the company’s site information describes labels at Åstorp and leaflets at Södertälje. MM is relevant when you need printed secondary components, not an empty plastic bottle. Ask which site makes each component and how artwork, coding and version changes will be controlled.

Inpac — contract packaging and cold-chain services in Lund

Inpac describes pharmaceutical and probiotic packaging work from Lund. Its published service information includes capsule and stick-pack operations, secondary packaging, storage and distribution. The company also describes temperature-controlled transport packaging for sensitive products. Specify whether your project needs product manufacturing, a packaging operation, secondary packing or a shipper; these are different scopes and should be quoted separately.

Packaging equipment

Norden — pharmaceutical tube-filling equipment in Kalmar

Norden’s pharmaceutical applications page describes tube-filling lines for products such as creams and gels. The company identifies its facilities in Kalmar, Sweden. It is an equipment supplier, not a substitute for a vendor of empty bottles or printed cartons. A machinery request should state the tube format, product, filling and sealing process, required inspections and the qualification work expected from the vendor.

Gotapack — sourcing and support for pharmaceutical production equipment

Gotapack describes itself as a Swedish partner linking pharmaceutical customers with machinery suppliers and providing installation and ongoing support. Its listed address is in Västra Frölunda. Compare it with an equipment maker on the actual machine supplier, local service responsibilities, spares, documentation and the division of work between Gotapack and the manufacturer.

What about transport packaging?

The previous version of this guide placed Nefab alongside primary pharmaceutical pack makers. Nefab’s current healthcare page focuses on protective packaging for medical equipment, instruments and related transport needs. That can be useful for a healthcare supply chain, but it should not be mistaken for a supplier of medicine-contact bottles. Define whether the requirement is a primary pack, a printed carton, a temperature-controlled shipper or protective packaging for equipment before approaching a supplier.

How should buyers compare the suppliers?

Send a short, consistent brief to the companies whose roles match your project. Include the dosage form or item being packed, the target market, the package stage, material and format, the required components, storage and shipping conditions, order profile and needed services. For a bottle, specify the bottle together with its cap, liner, label and any dosing accessory. For contract packaging, identify the filling, sealing, labeling, storage and release activities you expect the supplier to perform.

Then verify the manufacturing or service site, request specifications and quality documents for the exact proposed item or operation, and agree on samples and acceptance criteria. Compare lead time and commercial terms only after the scope is the same. A company’s broad healthcare marketing page is not evidence that a particular package is suitable for your product.

If your need is PET or HDPE bottles and closures rather than a Swedish contract packer, use our pharmaceutical bottle supplier checklist to prepare the brief. You can contact Zhuojing Package with the intended contents, pack components, quantity and destination market so the relevant product options can be discussed.
